7versammlung; von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung
8Epiarches aus (dem Demos) Hagnous; Beschluss des Volkes;
9Demetrios S.d. Euktemon aus (dem Demos) Aphidna stellte
10den Antrag: da Phanodemos aus (dem Demos) Thymaitadai
11in guter und ehrenvoller Weise gesetzgeberisch tätig war
12für das Heiligtum des Amphiaraos, damit die aller
13vier Jahre stattfindenden Festspiele so schön wie möglich wären
14und (ebenso) die anderen Opfer für die Götter im
15Heiligtum des Amphiaraos, und Einkünfte
16organisierte hierfür und für die Ausstattung
17des Heiligtums, wolle beschließen der Rat:
18dass die Vorsitzenden, die ausgelost sein werden zum Vorsitz
19für die erste Volksversammlung, Phanodemos
20einführen vor die Volksversammlung und
21verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlage
22des Rates im Volk einbringen, wonach
23der Rat beschließt, dass man belobige Phanodemos S.d.
24Diyllos aus dem Demos Thymaitadai wegen seines Ehrgeizes
25gegenüber dem Gott und dem Heiligtum des Amphi-
26araos, und bekränze mit goldenem Kranz
27von 1000 Drachmen; dass diesen Beschluss
28aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele der Sekretär,
29der während der Prytanien amtiert, und aufstelle
30im Heiligtum des Amphiaraos; dass für die
31Aufzeichnung auf die Stele der Schatzmeister
32des Volkes 20 Drachmen gebe aus
33dem Dekret-Fonds des Volkes.

6third of the prytany. Principal
7Assembly. Of the presiding committee,
8Epichares of Hagnous was putting to the vote. The People decided.
9Demetrios son of Euktemon of Aphidna
10proposed: since Phanodemos of Thymaitadai
11has legislated well and with love of honour
12about the sanctuary of Amphiaraos, so that both
13the quadrennial festival may be as fine as possible,
14and the other sacrifices to the gods in
15the sanctuary of Amphiaraos, and he has
16supplied means for these things and for the fitting out
17of the sanctuary, the Council shall decide:
18that the presiding committee allotted to
19preside at the next Assembly
20shall present Phanodemos to the People and
21put the matter on the agenda and submit the opinion
22of the Council to the People, that it seems good
23to the Council to praise Phanodemos son of Diyllos
24of Thymaitadai for his love of honour
25towards the god and the sanctuary of Amphiaraos,
26and crown him with a gold crown
27of 1,000 drachmas; and the prytany secretary
28shall inscribe this decree
29on a stone stele and stand it
30in the sanctuary of Amphiaraos; and for
31inscribing the stele the treasurer
32of the People shall give 20 drachmas from the
33People’s fund for expenditure on decrees.
